Now that's a comment... I'm honored and humbled.

I posted this because it made a connection to what I've read about on your blog. Perfectly. I've been reading. I've been inspired... and then it all came full circle with none other than my own daughter. I was ecstatic.

Again... thank you for your passion and your vision.

And for God's sake... For our kids' sake...

KEEP COOKING!

Andrew-

I am smiling from ear to ear! Paige, Madison, and their teachers in Carlisle get an A+!

So often, I hear adults say things like "these kids today" -my response back is: THESE KIDS TODAY-WOW! Look what they can do!

Your daughter is living proof that our future is bright if we have adults, like you, who get it!

Oh...I stalk you, too!

Thanks Chris! Yeah... the whole kids thing does change your perspective a bit. But as you said, keeping education "top of mind" is imperative - kids or not.

Think of it this way - with the advancements taking place today, your kids will be doing video and online presentations in pre-school!!! Yikes.

Thanks for stopping by the kitchen!

Keep Cooking!

I don't have kids yet but education is something that I think about a lot.

With the rapid changes taking place it's obviously hard for schools to keep up, and most are falling behind. The driving forces outside of schools have to be let in. Glad to see an example of some steps in that direction. Great stuff!

When Madison came to me asking if I could help (being form the industry) I told her she needed to "do it herself." Then she shows me THIS... WOW... I was blown away...

I helped her edit a bit of it, but she, Paige and Maggie scripted, shot and produced the entire piece... and they understood the medium, the reach and the power...

8th GRADE!... I'm impressed. The future is bright. And the light isn't even at full tilt, yet.

In one day, we've heard from her teachers and have been asked to have reproductions of the DVD made for the Carlisle board as well as other schools as an example of how "new technology" can be used as an educational tool...BR/BR/The flame gets turned up a notch...

Keep Cooking!
